Berkshire Choral International + The New Symphonics - Mendelssohn Bartholdy

Het Amerikaanse opleidingsinstituut Berkshire Choral International (BCI) brengt zangers over heel de wereld met elkaar in contact. In de afgelopen 38 jaar heeft BCI bijna 9000 zangers geïnspireerd door hun één week durende koormuziekprogramma. Deze zomer brengen ze een bezoek aan Amsterdam. Naast muziek van Mendelssohn staat het ontroerende Requiem For The Living van Dan Forrest op het programma. De zangers werken samen met het Nederlandse begeleidingsorkest The New Symphonics. Dit orkest beheerst alle muziekstijlen en speelde met artiesten als Elvis Costello, Toni Braxton, Vanessa Williams, Ute Lemper, Phil Collins, Dennie Christian, Joss Stone, Jocelyn Brown en tenor Antonello Palombi.

Over the past 38 years, BCI has inspired almost 9000 singers through our week-long choral music programs. This summer they are visiting Amsterdam. In addition to music by Mendelssohn the choristers sing Requiem For The Living, by Dan Forrest, which is beautiful, moving, and easily accessible by chorus and audience alike. The singers will be accompanied by the Dutch orchestra The New Symphonics. This orchestra masters all music styles and played with Elvis Costello, Toni Braxton, Vanessa Williams, Ute Lemper, Phil Collins, Dennie Christian, Joss Stone, Jocelyn Brown and tenor Antonello Palombi.
